Bicycle fan

Seven years ago, i found a MTB (mountain bike) dumped in the neighborhood. Old and partly damaged, but he gave a superb ride. i thought i could ride to the end of the world. i was 36 years old, when i quit the company that i had served for 12 years. i decided to make a journey from Kanagawa to Hokkaido, my hometown, with him . At that time, i had not enjoyed "outdoor life"(camping, etc.). Anyway, i prepared requiste minimum tools such as tent, sleeping bag, and the like. And i waited for end of rainy season (tsuyu-ake) while my family worried about the safety of me.

The today's photo is MTB-2 that i bought in 2001. Up to now, he runs about 10,000km.
To ride a greater distance, i got a cross-bike the other day. The cross-bike is positined between Mountain bike and Road bike. In short, fashionable and of high performance. i will ride him to TOKYO at the end of this month, named "Tokyo here and there tour".
